What do you do with a snow day?

We made sushi and Whoopie pies. A BIG thank you to my husband for shoveling our "foot" of snow.
Chloe spent the day playing barbies. Charlie spent the day with his wrestlers.

Charlie's 3rd birthday

Charlie had his party at the Magic House. very fun. They did a fantastic job and the kids had a great time. First, they gave each kid a blank canvas, paints, markers and tons of stickers, glitter, etc.

Then we all made cool glasses to wear!

Then each kid got a cupcake with a cup of frosting and yummy toppings to decorate with.

Yea, presents!!

Then we got full run of the Magic House. If you haven't been there... we highly recommend it!

Winter Gala

Charlie's school had a performance this evening. Unfortunately, we didn't have very good seats... thus, not very good pictures :( Charlie did great. While a couple of his friends got a bad case of stage fright, Charlie danced and sang and then applauded himself! He sang 2 songs: Jingle Bells and Snowflake, Snowflake. I still can't understand the words to the second song.

Toga... party of 1. We went to the Carson's annual New Years Eve party. There was a discussion about a toga theme... apparently I was the only one to hear that discussion :) Yummy food, as always. We made sushi this year. On the right are California rolls and Philly rolls. On the left are Ghetto sushi (hotdogs and American cheese)... for the Carsons :)

Charlie welcomed the New Year by playing his DS.

And we played a fun new game called Dicecapades. Not sure who won :)
