Wow, has it really been nearly 3 months since I updated? Let me see, what Easterlin stories can I tell you?
Charlie learned some cool self defense moves at Bryce Thompson's birthday party in April
Also in April, my friend, Jane was nominated for
Nurse of the Year ! Yea, Jane... you ROCK!
At the end of April, Chuck and Charlie made a quick to South Carolina. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from the visit :( The girls and I were sad that we were not able to go, but I'm glad that the boys had a good time.
On April 28, Sean and Mel, Curt, and some friends from work went to a Trivia night to benefit a
little boy with severe asthma . We came in 3rd place! Who knew we were so smart?!?
In May, we got to kitty sit Haley... always a good time.
A few times a year, our Fire dept puts on a Family Movie Night. Great PR move, and very fun. They have a BBQ and show a movie. We had a fantastic hotdog, and watched Madagascar.
Horray for Baseball season! Go Cards! 12 in '12!!
Also this year, Charlie started taking ice skating lessons in preparation for his hockey career :) The first lesson was torture. He hated it. By lesson #2, he was flying around the rink like a pro. "Flying" and "pro" are used extremely loosely here :) At least he wasn't crying. Intro to hockey starts Monday!
Over Memorial Day weekend, Melody and I enjoyed a quick girls vacation to Hotsprings, AR. We enjoyed the best message EVAH! I highly recommend the
Sabai Spa. We then ventured out to
dig for diamonds. No luck, but I found a huge purple "amythyst"... in the gift shop.Very valuable. I think it is worth at least $7
